Thank you everyone for your comments and suggestions on my previous post. I know it will all work out, but it's just a little frustrating to me since he isn't home nor does he do the errands and wants me to do it a different way and he's told me before that I could eat out. But, I guess with baby 2 coming, we do need to start thinking differently. And every suggestion I have to save money including getting a doggie door to reduce heating and air costs in the long run from keeping the door open for the dogs is shut down.
But, we had a good day yesterday together as a family. It's an ICU month, so yesterday is one of four days we will be able to spend together all month.
If you remember, Garrick & I purchased this for $20 off of Craigslist:
But it was all faded, but anything we buy new will fade anyway too.
We found this spray paint by Krylon that bonds to plastic and we refinished it:
Red side before and after:
Front before and after:
Platform before and after:
We didn't do the green side as it really wasn't faded. We'll see if the spray paint holds up, but it should. The spray paint can shows a picture of a plastic outdoor play house. Still debating on whether or not to do the slide part of it, but I'm kind of waiting to see whether or not the paint chips before deciding on doing the slide. I also don't know what color I'll want to do it either.

WOW that looks great! I hope the paint job holds up!
That looks amazing!! Good to know if i ever buy something plastic that's faded from the sun. I'm notorious for buying things used and to be able to make it look brand new, what a deal!!
That looks awesome, like brand new! Great job!
It looks awesome!!!
The climber looks GREAT! It is definitely handy to know that the plastic paint looks so nice. I am about ready to move Rudy's climber outside and was worried about it fading
